What You’ll Deliver
- You’ll be responsible for providing system support (first-level support for Financial Systems) and carrying out the design and development of all Finance Policies and Procedures (P&P), Delegation of Authority (DoA) in close coordination with the relevant Finance functions
- You’ll also be responsible for the preparation of performance and management reports
- You’ll coordinate closely with other DA business units/ departments and the Dubai Government for any joint projects in place
- You’ll conduct periodic reviews on the compliance with Finance P&Ps and DOAs by the various Finance units and provide feedback and resolution on issues identified. Obtain assistance from Level 3 – Finance Systems and Performance for any complex issues identified
- You’ll be responsible to work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
What You Bring
- You’ll be educated to a degree level in Commerce or Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and/or Accounting. A recognized professional qualification (ACCA/ACA) is preferable.
- You’ll have at 6 years of relevant experience within the Finance field, with demonstrated experience.
- You’ll have previous knowledge of system support processes and functional knowledge of finance systems (e.g. ERP)
- You’ll have an understanding of IFRS, business process and control, and statutory laws and regulations/implications
- Previous experience with at least the Aviation or airports operations industry experience will be preferable.
